FIRE ISLAND MASTER PLAN: Imprints on the beach

A lot has changed at Fire Island National Seashore since its last general management plan was approved in 1977. To cite two examples, the seashore now manages the William Floyd Estate in Mastic and the federally designated wilderness area along one section of the Fire Island beach. Read the rest of this entry »
